Recent Events 2010 Lemons Into Lemonade Recently, I was invited by a local business to be a monthly featured artist.  I want to create an exhibit featuring folks who have chosen to channel their pain into a passion for helping others.  Life can be tough, so it's awesome to meet people who turn lemons into lemonade. Going Three Dimensional Like most artist, one medium is never enough (could be a metamorphosis).  I've always had a vision for sculpting with sheet metal but, was a bit cautious about propane tanks.  However, creative purpose always triumphs and I fired up the initial tank last year (a cinch!).  Plasma cutting is my weapon of choice.  Premiering soon..the debut of three dimensional concepts.  Gonna need some room..lots of room. Fab After 40! Alright, this has nothing to do with wire sculpting but, is a "note worthy" highlight in my year.  MORE magazine (caters to the over 40 and fab crowd) had this "Over 40 Fab" contest so... I ENTERED. Don't laugh. I can be fabulous when not entangled in wire and protective gear. can't believe they published my entry !  Mmm- maybe I'll sculpt their logo and send it to them. Find us on Facebook May not be a big deal to some but for me it's a GIANT STEP to "techy" networking. I usually avoid online social networks (accept Linkden).  But many online retailers use them.  Show me facebook We're at the Village Grind These days, I think people are discovering value in simple pleasures, like a hot cup of chocolate and piece of cheese cake with friends. Why not, I sure enjoyed it. Although it wasn't my goal when I walked in, I found myself drawn to the handmade gift items and thought, why not wire sculptuers. If you're ever in town, stop by, you won't leave. 2009 Garden Festival 2009 When: Sat.
